Kirkhill Primary School

A busy week!

We’ve certainly had a busy week in Primary One and have all been really enjoying learning lots about the moon! It’s been amazing to hear all the fascinating facts the children know – lots of excitement in the air!

We impressed our P7 buddies when they came to visit and they helped us write down some Moon Facts for our books that we’re making.  We also made rockets and had to use ‘puff power’ to see how far they could fly (apologies for the photos – the rockets were so fast I missed catching many of them in flight!).

And in amongst all our space adventures we’ve been working hard on our letters, sounds, numbers, making patterns and finding out what one second feels like (we discovered we could do quite a lot of different things in such a short time!).

Ask your child what they’ve enjoyed doing this week and be sure to leave a comment!
