A VERY busy week!
We’ve had a great week and everyone in P1 has been working super-hard, learning lots and having fun! Bramble Berry has been well looked after in our classroom with everyone volunteering to give her cuddles and read her stories. We did some great writing to let Bramble Berry know a little bit about us, painted our own woodland elves to decorate our room and also made some super woodland trails across our classroom so she felt at home. We’re really excited to take her back to the woods on Monday and see what new adventures we might have!
We’ve also been working on our sight words, adding, taking away and doing some exploring with our magnifying glasses to take a close-up look at some creatures that might be found outdoors.
PE on Friday was GREAT as we took part in Mr Baillie’s six minute challenge! Mr Baillie said he didn’t think we’d be able to run for six minutes without stopping so we gave it a go… over half the class did this easily so we’re going to keep trying and see if we can ALL do it before we leave P1! Just a reminder that we all need PE kits and trainers for PE (if possible) as the velcro on many of the black plimsolls isn’t holding up too well with all our energetic running sessions!
