Burns Night Haggis tasting
Today we celebrated burns night with a haggis tasting. Here is what we thought:
Hunter “We found it really good and kind of spicy.”
Katie “It was really, really hot!”
Louie “I’d never tasted it before but everyone encouraged me. I tasted it and I loved it!”
Isaac “I thought it was really, really nice. I haven’t had it since P2.”
We also learned about Robbie Burns.
- He was famous for his poems. (Leah)
- His birthday is today, 25th January. (Will)
- We celebrate his life with Burns night by eating haggis, neaps and tatties and sharing his poems and songs.
- To a mouse is one of his poems. (Sophie)
