We have been going on a shape hunt this week. We have been fantastic at spotting all the circles, triangles, rectangles and squares.
We have drawn our self-portraits. We had to look very closely at the position of all our features.
On Thursday we went to the woods with Primary 3. We were using different things to measure a metre. We used wooden sticks and Sammy Snake strings. We worked very well together in small teams. We can’t wait until we go again next week. We will be doing 6 weeks of fun outdoor learning at the woods!
This morning we were very lucky to have a visit from Daniel a Storyteller from Glasgow. He started by telling us a riddle, it was very tricky to solve! At the end of the session he told us the answer to the riddle. He told us an amazing, funny and scary story about Maisie and the creepy weird fairies. We enjoyed joining in with the noises and actions. Then we started off a story that Daniel was going to take to the next classes.
We enjoyed making our Easter cards. We used black pens to design a pattern onto our white egg shape. then we coloured them in very carefully with lovely bright crayons. We are very proud of the results!
We enjoyed World Book Day. It was fun to take our teddies and books and to wear our pyjamas. We worked together to make our own books. Everyone read their books in the hall.
We worked really hard to make all our bright scenery. Everyone was great at bringing in suitable ‘weather’ clothes for their costumes and helping to provide all our props.
