This afternoon Dr Alice and some medical students came in to help us with our poorly bears. 😷 We now know how to help with a high temperature, nose bleed, difficulty in breathing and how to stitch up an opening😀
We went outside this afternoon to make some 2D shapes. Can you see some circles, squares, rectangles and heptagons?
We have all settled in well to our new class. Here are a few pictures of what we have been getting up to.
We joined the primary 4 to do our maths today – we made analogue and digital clocks. We then practised telling the time. Good fun although a little cold .
S S P C A came to visit the school today. In primary 2 we looked at rabbits and what it is like to look after them. We named the mechanical rabbits Fudge and Toffee. We also pretended to be vets who had a hard job trying to catch a few stray (human) rabbits at the end of the lesson 🙂
I am so proud of all the class – they performed so well on Monday and were full of confidence. With all the excitement I forgot to take photos. If you have any and are willing to share with school can you email them in. Thanks in advance 🙂
This week we have been learning all about 3D shape. We went out to look for some shapes around the school. We also made 3D shapes with twigs. We are very proud of our models.
