Fun in the Sun!
What a great time we had with Lizzy who came to teach us tennis this afternoon. We were working on throwing and catching the ball then seeing if we could use our tennis rackets to flip bean bags in the air and to our partners. We ended with a balance challenge and had to try and balance a ball on our rackets while walking, touching the ground and jogging – it was pretty tricky!
After school some of the P1s took part in the Mini-McRobert cross country race at Inverness Royal Academy and they were all SUPERSTARS! This was the first race for many of the P1s and they coped well with the excitement and ran like the wind! A letter should have come home today about The Baillie Cup, any interested P1s should come along on Friday at lunchtime to try-out for the team. We’ve got some great runners in our class so I hope they’ll all give it a go!

How did the runners get on?
Fin refused to take part as he was convinced he would be last.
Maybe next time!

They were amazing! Very proud of them all! Tell Fin there’s no way he would have been last and to have a go next time!
