Making vegetable soup
After learning that we should be trying to eat plenty of fruit, vegetables and carbohydrates, as well as the other food groups, we made vegetable soup.
We packed the soup full of vegetables and some lentils then simmered it with vegetable stock.
After it was blended, we enjoyed tasting it with crusty bread.
A yummy, healthy snack!
Why not try it at home?
PS We added more stock…1.5 litres wasn’t enough!
