Pigs and Pancakes!

We’ve had great fun learning our new sound ‘p’ this week! We read the story The Pig in the Pond and did an amazing job of making our own pigs splashing in the water. We also read The Three Little Pigs and Mrs Hilditch came in to help us retell the story and add music to it – she was very impressed by how well we did. We all worked really hard on our letter formation too and managed to use icing and sprinkles to write our new sound on p…p…p…pancakes! Remember that all the songs for our sounds are on the blog so keep singing away whenever you can!

She cannot stop talking about school – long may it continue.

I love the P1 blog. It is great to see what the P1’s are up to whilst I am stuck in the office. Those pancakes look so tasty and your pigs are fantastic.
