Last week we harvested some potatoes that the previous P1 class had planted! We discovered brown and purple potatoes inside the soil and some of us suggested that we should make soup with them.
Today we carefully washed, peeled and chopped 1 leek, 1 carrot and 8 potatoes before cooking them slowly with water and stock cubes.
At the end of the day we all got the chance to try it. Some people chose not to try it this time but suggested other types of soup that they might like to make.
