Super Work In P1!

Last week we were very busy working on our sight words and some of us had a go at writing these by ourselves. We’re trying very hard to get all the letters in the alphabet in order, using our song to help us, and are learning the sounds the letters make and their name. We had great fun with our ‘j’ sound and made jelly and then of course ate it! It’s super to see how well everyone is doing with their Literacy jobs!

In number time we’re getting pretty good at finding the number that comes in-between two numbers and have been working hard on adding two sets of numbers in lots of different ways. There appear to be lots of keen mathematicians in our class!
