The Colour Monster!

Today we shared a book called The Colour Monster. The poor monster’s colours were all muddled up and he didn’t know what he was feeling! Luckily he had a kind friend who helped him to recognise and name his feelings! We made a big Colour Monster together and designed our own feelings monsters too! We thought about how we have been feeling over the last few days and what we can all do as a team to create a really happy class!

Can you share with someone at home what we think makes a really happy class?

Today I was really impressed by the confidence and independence of all of our little learners. It would be great if tomorrow morning you could have a go at dropping your children at the cloakroom at 9am and then allowing them to enter the class and organise themselves independently.

The colour monsters look amazing, I am looking forward to seeing the finished articles. Annie was able to offer a good number of ideas about what makes a really happy class.
