Watch out for the giants!

This morning we discovered a beanstalk in our classroom and someone VERY big climbing down it… we used our amazing imaginations to figure out who this giant might be. Some of our giants were kind, some terrifying and some misunderstood!

We figured out what we might be learning about and read one version of Jack and the Beanstalk. If you have any alternative versions of this traditional tale or books about giants, we’d love to read them in class (remember to pop your child’s name on anything you send in).

Our new topic is Once upon a time… and through stories we’ll be off on many adventures into the world of make-believe… I wonder who we’ll meet in our final term of P1?

Loving all the amazing giants, Abby has told me all about the giant beanstalk and how Ms macKenzie says it’s real!! Abby says that can’t be true because it doesn’t move!
I’ve missed seeing all the posts over the last few weeks – looking forward to seeing what ‘Once upon a time…’ brings!

There’s no fooling Abby is there?! They were all very excited this morning and came up with some brilliant stories about their own giants😊. I think this is going to be a fun topic!
