Wonderful Woodland Adventures!
On our woodland adventure today we had great fun in the wind, hail and eventually glorious sunshine! We were on a mission to creep silently into the wood and see if we were lucky enough to see any woodland animals. We spotted a squirrel, some birds and a few of us even saw a deer!
We were looking at the colours of nature today and had to work with a partner to match the things in the wood to the colour strip we’d been given and we all did a great job of this! Ask your children if they can tell you which colours they were looking for, what they found that matched and what they enjoyed doing most on our trip.
Today we had a few cold fingers so if you can send your child to school with some gloves next week, that would be super! And of course, please remember you’re invited to meet us at 9.45am at Achnagairn Estate next week for our final adventure into the woods before the holidays!

sam and I look for bool fmgs.
Carlin says Robbie help them to find something blue. It was some blue fur, which he think is from a tree but he is not sure. The best part for Carlin was the creeping around.

You and Sam had the hardest colour as there wasn’t much blue to be seen in the woods!

Ally’s partner was Annie and they had orange and green colours to find. He thought the best part was trying to find woodland creatures and playing sticky arms, legs and feet.
