Science Fun!

This week we’ve been thinking more about the weather and have had lots of fun with science! We used our amazing P1 magic to make a tornado in a jar, made it rain in our classroom and have set up an experiment to see if we can make it rain in a bag!

Have a look at the photos and ask your child to tell you all about the learning we’ve been doing. Your little ones might want to show you how to do these things at home but have been warned that if they’re making it rain in your house a grown-up has to be in charge of the kettle (and of course I can’t be held responsible for any watery messes that could occur!). Have fun!

Orla loved making the rain cloud that was trapped in a bag. She also loved making a tornado in a jar. But she loved making it rain in the classroom the most!

Glad she had fun?. She was actually one of my ‘tornado in a jar’ teachers! She did a great job of teaching some of her friends how to make one!
