Working Together…

Every Wednesday morning the children in Nursery and P1 work together to learn new skills. This term we’ve been working on how to be Responsible Citizens and look after our planet. We’ve sorted through rubbish, talked about what’s happening in the oceans and rainforests, and looked at how we can reuse everyday items in new ways.

Today the children created little plant pots from old paper, created some works of art on newspaper and worked together to make habitats to keep the animals safe.

It’s so good to see how the P1s look after their Nursery Buddies and become mini-teachers during this time; sharing all they know and keeping their friends safe and happy.

It’s such fun having the nursery join us each week and your little ones seem in their element in P1?!

What great photographs, Annie certainly enjoys her time in P1. Her dog picture has pride of place in the kitchen.
